JAKARTA, March 17, 2025 – As part of its efforts to strengthen partnerships and maintain open communication, PT Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia (DASI) held an Iftar Gathering with its dealers at Plataran Dharmawangsa Restaurant, Jakarta. The event was intended to serve as a strategic medium for building stronger relationships and to express appreciation for the dealers’ contributions to the company’s business growth.

The gathering was attended by dozens of dealer representatives from the Jakarta area, along with members of the management team. In addition to enjoying the iftar meal together, participants engaged in casual discussions about service strategies, market development, and shared success stories from the field.

JAKARTA, March 15, 2025 – PT Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia (DASI) served as a sponsor for the 2025 Gathering & Iftar event held by the Association of Chief Engineering (ACE) DKI Jakarta, themed “Efisiensi Energi: Langkah Pasti Sektor Komersial Dalam Mewujudkan Target NDC” which took place at the Hilton Hotel Jakarta.

According to the Indonesia Research Institute for Decarbonization (IRID), the NDC (Nationally Determined Contribution) is a commitment formulated by Parties (countries that have ratified the Paris Agreement) to contribute to the reduction of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions within the framework of the Paris Agreement. Nonetheless, Parties may also include their efforts to enhance resilience against the impacts of climate change in their NDCs. Countries must ensure a decent living and environment for their citizens, which forms the foundation of Indonesia’s commitment to climate change mitigation. In line with this, Indonesia is strongly committed to reducing its national GHG emissions and playing a role in reducing global GHG emissions.

In accordance with Presidential Regulation Number 98 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Carbon Economic Value to Achieve the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) Target, Indonesia has submitted its GHG emission reduction target to the UNFCCC of 29% through its own efforts and 41% with international support. On September 23, 2022, Indonesia further enhanced its emission reduction ambition through the submission of the Enhanced NDC document, aiming for a 31.89% reduction through its own capabilities and 43.20% with international support.

This event aimed to highlight the importance of energy efficiency in Indonesia and to encourage innovation among stakeholders in creating effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability.

TIMIKA, February 24-26, 2025 – PT Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia (DASI) held a training session titled “Pengembangan Sumber Daya Teknik HVAC” (HVAC Technical Resource Development) We provided an in-depth understanding of Applied Chiller Basics and Terminology, as well as the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures. We believe this training activity aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants who attend this training.

BANDUNG – PT. Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia successfully held a specialized training session at the Yellow Hotel Ballroom in Bandung. The event was aimed at HVAC consultants from the Bandung area and featured Dr. Zhow, an expert from Daikin Asia Pacific (AP HUB). The training focused on the importance of AHU Hygiene in maintaining cleanroom standards in hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry.

AHU Hygiene is a crucial step in ensuring that Air Handling Units (AHUs) remain clean and free from contamination, helping to prevent the spread of microorganisms, dust, and pathogens that could jeopardize health. During the session, participants learned about routine maintenance techniques, such as cleaning filters, coils, drainage systems, and inspecting air ducts, all of which are essential to maintaining optimal HVAC system performance.

In addition to providing valuable insights, the event included an interactive discussion with expert speakers from Daikin Singapore. To keep the atmosphere lively, exciting rewards were offered to participants who actively engaged in the Q&A session.

The Indonesian Shopping Center Association (APPBI) is a non-profit organization consisting of the owners and managers of shopping malls in Indonesia. With a vision to position the shopping center industry in Indonesia as one of the core forces in driving and strengthening national economic growth, APPBI fosters strong relationships between its members, the government, and other relevant stakeholders through communication and collaboration.

The mission of APPBI is to act as a united body and collaborate in maintaining and prioritizing stable and sustainable business growth in the shopping center industry, ultimately contributing positively to society and the nation in building strong regional economic growth.

The APPBI RAKERDA event was held in Tawangmangu, Central Java, in February 2023, and was attended by all mall owners and managers from throughout Central Java. PT. Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia also participated as a sponsor for the event.

2023 will be a pivotal moment for the revival of Indonesia’s retail industry amidst their hard efforts in national economic recovery, accompanied by global pressures.

Kondisi perencanaan condenser water temperature

Berdasarkan SNI 6390:2020 : Perhitungan beban pendinginan, kondisi perencanaan udara luar ruang ditetapkan 33°C DB dan 27°C WB

Berikut ini adalah beberapa data unit chiller dikota-kota besar di Indonesia. Kami ambil dari Remote Monitoring Services (RMS) yang telah terpasang langsung dari unit-unit chiller,  yang menunjukkan bahwa saat chiller beroperasi, dapat mencapai pada rentang temperatur entering condenser EWT temp range : 27~28.5°C.

Dengan nilai frekuensi kejadian kumulatif tahunan sebesar 0,4%, 1%, atau 2%.

Suatu perencanaan mengenai design condenser membutuhkan high condenser temperature sampai 31.0/36.0°C akan berdampak pada : 

• Meningkatkan ΔT, akan membutuhkan condenser yang lebih besar (meningkatkan luas permukaan) atau meningkatkan saturated condensing pressure nantinya akan membuat compressor bekerja lebih keras, kapasitas cooling tower besar sehingga secara keseluruhan system juga akan drop performance nya.

 Karena pada prinsip yang sesungguhnya dengan temperature 30.0/35.0°C, sudah cukup dari actual akan berdampak pada :

• Tidak membutuhkan condenser yang lebih besar, kapasitas chiller kecil dengan biaya rendah tetapi performance chiller lebih bagus.

Sesuai dengan keputusan Menteri Ketenagakerjaan Republik Indonesia, No.14 tahun 2019 tentang Penetapan Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia kategori teknisi dan tata udara chiller.

Kami dari PT. Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia, terus berkomitment meningkatkan sumber daya manusia dengan mengikuti program pemerintah melalui Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Elektroteknika, para teknisi kami telah berhasil mengikuti uji kompetesi dengan SKEMA F43RAC01 KUALIFIKASI 5  TEKNISI TATA UDARA DAN CHILLER.

Sertifikat Kompetensi merupakan  bukti pengakuan tertulis atas penguasaan kompetensi kerja pada jenis profesi yang diberikan oleh Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi atau Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP).

Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut teknisi kami telah dinyatakan LULUS Uji Kompetensi.

STABLE & RELIABLE DESIGN

• Untuk dapat mencapai target temperatur dan RH secara bersamaan dengan kondisi yang lebih stabil, cooling coil AHU harus bisa menjaga output dew point temperatur agar tetap di bawah dew point ruangan.

• Dalam mempertahankan temperatur yang stabil, tentunya kondisi air dapat dengan mudah di kontrol di bandingan dengan logik kontrol pada system DX, ini akan sangat terpengaruh oleh temperatur suction superheat.  Nilai keakuratan sensor di dalam system tersebut jadi faktor kritikal.

• Sistem chiller menggunakan media pendingin sekunder (berupa air) yang relatif lebih stabil dalam menjaga temperatur coil di AHU, khususnya temperatur dew point tanpa terpengaruh kondisi on/off chiller, beban electric heater, & fluktuasi temperatur fresh air.

• Penggunaan chilled water untuk target temperatur dew point rendah bisa menghindari resiko freezing di coil.
