JAKARTA, Mei 27th 2025 – PT Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia (DASI) recently held a three-day intensive technical training program aimed at enhancing the capabilities of its technicians in handling the latest cooling systems. The training was focused on in-depth technical understanding of the Daikin Applied Europe EWAD-TZ-D series units, which are widely used in high-standard data centers.

The program consisted of two days of theoretical sessions and one day of hands-on practical training. The theoretical portion provided a comprehensive overview of the cooling unit systems, control structures, and complex operational logic. In the practical session, participants conducted live simulations and testing involving the unit software and key components such as the EXV, fan system, and economizer logic control.

This training was designed to be application-oriented, enabling technicians to gain a thorough understanding of unit operations—from installation and commissioning to maintenance. Such knowledge is essential to ensure optimal system performance in data center environments, which demand temperature stability and energy efficiency.

Beyond the technical scope, the training also emphasized workplace safety standards aligned with both national and international regulations. The implementation of these safety protocols plays a critical role in ensuring operational activities run safely and sustainably.

The training sessions were led directly by Razvan Andrei Balan, a professional technician from Daikin Applied Europe with extensive experience in HVAC system development and implementation across various countries. His presence provided additional value through global technical insights and proven best practices.
